- Como seguramente ya habréis notado, hace tiempo que no actualizo mis galerías (ya sea la del blog, la de DeviantArt o la de Pixiv) y como consecuencia de ello, prácticamente nadie conoce la afición que tengo (¡desde hace ya bastante tiempo!) por un conocido manga/anime: Shingeki no kyojin (Ataque a los titanes) A pesar de no ser el estilo de historia que me gusta habitualmente, debo admitir que esta me enganchó muchísimo desde el principio.
- Cuando, a finales del año pasado, se anunció la publicación de un manga spin-off (trabajo derivado) en la revista japonesa ARIA, que tendría como protagonista al soldado de primera Levi —mi personaje favorito, cómo no— decidí empezar a comprar dicha revista (a través de Amazon Japón) y de paso, practicar la lectura en japonés. A pesar de no ser el primer manga en japonés que poseo (también tengo, en versión original, la famosa serie de Death Note) sí es el más especial para mí, ya que nunca había coleccionado revistas japonesas mensuales al mismo tiempo que van saliendo en su país de origen. De hecho, ambas revistas fueron encargadas tan pronto como salieron a la venta (siendo la número 1 de Enero 2014 y habiendo salido a finales de Diciembre 2013, y así sucesivamente, ya que cada revista sale al final del mes anterior)

- As you may have noticed, it’s been a while since I updated my gallery last time (neither the blog’s one, DeviantArt’s one, or the Pixiv’s one) and as a consequence, almost no one knows I’m very fond (for quite some time!) of the known manga/anime: Shingeki no kyojin (Attack on titan) Even if it’s not the kind of story I usually like, I must admit that this one hooked me a lot since the beginning.
- When, late last year, was announced the publication of a spin-off manga (derived work) in the Japanese magazine ARIA, which would have as protagonist the Lance Corporal Levi —my favourite character, of course— I decided to start buying the magazine (via Amazon Japan) and also, to practice in reading in Japanese. Although it’s not the first manga in Japanese that I own (I also have the hit series Death Note in original version) it’s the most special to me, as I had never collected monthly Japanese magazines at the same time as they’re being published in their country of origin. In fact, both magazines were ordered as soon as they went on sale (being the number 1 the one for January 2014, and having been released in late December 2013, and so on, since each magazine is released at the end of the previous month)

Una comparación del grosor de ambos tomos. El nº1 tiene 698 páginas, y el nº2 tiene 638. Parece mentira que solo cuesten, cada uno, el equivalente a unos 5€ ☆☆☆ Comparing the thickness of both volumes. No.1 has 698 pages, and No.2 has 638. Seems incredible that they cost, each one, only about 5€
Por desgracia, llevar al día una colección así conlleva demasiados gastos (especialmente, los de envío) así que a partir del número 2 ya no pude continuar comprándola mes a mes. Ahora toca esperar para poder conseguir hasta la nº8, recién estrenada ☆☆☆ Sadly, having a collection like this updated, involves too many expenses (especially the shipping), so from the No.2 I couldn’t continue buying it every month. Now I have to wait to get to No.8, just released
